Summary

A listing of all sales broken down by the customers industry, as obtained by scanning all orders that were picked-up during the selected time period. This report is useful for determining the key industries to target during a month. It is frequently run for the previous years to determine the industries to focus marketing efforts on in any given month. Note: Any subsequent adjustments to the orders are included (because they are included in the order totals).

Report Breakdown

Industry Name: a list of the customer industries with orders sold (picked-up) in the report time period.

Number of Invoices: The number of orders sold (picked-up) attributed to the listed industry.

Sales: The total pre-tax amount of all orders sold (picked-up) attributed to the listed industry.

Avg Sales: The avaerage sales value is calculated as the sales value divided by the number of invoices.

% of Total: The percent of total is the percentage of total pre-tax sales for the report period attributed to the listed industry.

Total Customers: The total count of customers in the system attributed to the listed industry.

Cusotmers with Orders: The total count of customers with orders sold (picked-up) during the report time period attriuted to the listed industry.
